The little tiny miniscule light bulb in the switch that controls the mirrors burned out, I looked in auto parts stores they said dealer, and the dealer said it will only come as a new switch with the light bulb inside. I don't want that. Any one has any ideas were I can get that tiny light bulb?

I will try to post picture later if some people have never siin that thing.

Dealer is correct. Hope you have some luck buying off of someone here.

I have a grey one but i will need to see if the light works on it. As far as i know you cant replace the bulb. IF you can find a way to disassemble the switch without breaking it then you might be able to put a diode in there to light things up.

I got the bulb out, it's very simple, the switch works perfect, nothing broken. U guys want a write up? LED backlite will go in to the car but much later(spring/summer) LED will fit in there fine. I will get a picture of the light bulb. I will visit the dealer tomorrow see if they can source something for me.

The LEDs were quite bright and thay looked very cool when dimming, those are bright white leds with wide angle lens and in reality they had blue hue like HID lights.

the leds are nice but very painful. i replaced all of mine with leds and now i wish i didn't do it. on my gst i'm not changing the gauges or the lights inside. trying to stay as close to stock interior I can......outside though will be awesome.

Advise taken, but I think the first time I did it in my 1g car was very nice, not painful at all and a huge improvement over the stock yellow looking interior dome light, did you look at the link I think it came out classy and I am glad it is not rice at all. Also that picture was taken during the day and at night it looked totally different and mesmerizing. That was the coolest thing about my eclipse. I would like to call it J-Factor (Japan factor) that is what Toyota engineers call the stile in their new Lexus with led interior lights and ton's of little gadget.

And this whole link started not because of LED but cuz I need to replace a light bulb in my mirror control switch and can't find a replacement bulb

Also not that any one cares but now that my 1G is gone I use those LED as a bed light, they light up my whole room and I can study at night lol

Make a small writeup on replacing the bulb and send it to me for the main site interior section. This is a common bulb to burn out.

I've replaced all my switch/ button lights with Blue LED's also. Been running great for about 2 years now, no burnouts or anything.

Do you by any chance remember how many light bulbs are total in the dash, and also will the 5mm LED fit the gauge cluster, how many LED's did you end up using?
