I tried prying the SOB with a foot long piece of pipe and it just does not want to curl. Is thre a technic...i know it sounds stupid and it seems easy, but what is the procedure?

Ugh, is that "use a baseball bat to extend your fenders" post making a come back? Don't do that, don't listen to that noise!

I used a baseball bat to bend the rear fender "knife edge" up away from the tires in the back. That was what was rubbing on the back tires on my car. I didn't bend the fenders themselves, just the stupid knife edge that hits the tires.

I just used an adjustable wrench and bent it little by little. It worked nicely and no risk of slipping and fucking shit up.
