90620, Aftermarket Heated Seats

Has anyone looked into installing aftermarket heated seats? I was just curious to how difficult the install was or if it is just worth it to buy the heated seat covers.

Any input would be most welcome. Since moving to Michigan in my 4th year, it's time I invested into keeping the car warm.

I've been looking at the Obus Forme seat cover that just plugs into the cigarette adapter. Any other ideas?

Please feel free to email me at bryanjao@yahoo.com with specific answers.

Peace and love to the 2gnts.

You can get heat pads that go under your stock seat cover. I think you're supposed to trim a bit of the stock foam so the pads fit flush under the cover. Check into those. Then the seats will look stock and you can hardwire the heaters to a switch somewhere.
