I'm in the process of getting a vis g-speed hood and as its sat on backorder ive been rethinking if i want it or not, does anyone have any pics of this hood on a car, i really need them asap so i can make a decision before the hood comes in, since its on backorder right now, thanks in advance

I searched around for you man, but i was was unable to find one installed on a 2g. I did see a pic of the hood though and i believe it would look good on your car.

ive found those i was hoping for more on peoples cars, because the whole c/f bumper and disgusting fenders dont help it at all, i was hoping to see some more but im thinkin im gonna get it, trying to decide before its too late

I soooooo wish we could get an 2Gb style front bumper in CF for a reasonable price. Some day when I have tonns of extra money settings around (lol) I'm going to get one made, along with side skirts, and rear bumper, and then put a CF hatch, turbo wing, hood, and fenders on it... and have an almost completely CF eclipse! Till then... i'll stickw with a regular 2Gb bumper... :(

BTW, if you would like a 2Gb CF front and rear bumper, I got a quote on having them made, and it's $1500 each. I can dig through my old emails and see if I can find out who it was that I had quote that if you want me to.

SquidSkins has been offering 2GB front and rear clips in CF and FG for about three years now. They're something like $450 CDN. They also have the hood, fenders, door skins, dash, hatch, mirrors and GSX wing in either material. The owner tells me that, on the "Archer" car (which is the black Talon with the yellow), these peices reduced the weight by just over 300lbs.

Hmm.... it was a quite a long time ago when I got the quote... probably back in my days before I knew how to use the search button... sorry brian. I will try my best to keep all my information correct and up to date from now on. ;)

EDIT: Brian, you're probably talking about the Talon style bumper while I'm talking about the eclipse style. Or maybe you have to email them about the eclipse style... but I think squidskins is who I got quote from for custom eclipse CF bumpers... *goes to search*

thats one of the ugliest hood known to man imo.

The only good thing about that hood is the fact of how well it would allow the turbo to cool down and release more hot air to keep engine temps down.

Yeah. That's the reason that I'm going with their carbon fiber EVO style hood.

I kinda like it but thats me I guess, I guess I will stick with my Xtreme GT for now, but Rain + Xtreme Gt Hood+ 420a Turbo = No Good
