Looks about like the color I was looking for, what's it called?
BTW, your sig pic is way too big.

Looks nice. I second the opinion on the sig. It's huge and my screen resolution is very high.

1200* variety, "Aluminum"
Only downside? Brake Kleen will wash it right off. Even so, easier to keep the engine clean when you can see where the filth is coming from and just wipe it down with a wet rag.
I plan on polishing off those letters, but I've got other projects to get to first.
Thanks for the compliments, fellas. :thumbsup

I polished my letters carefully AFTER i painted it. I love the look but my paint DID change a little from the heat.

NICE, Blaire!
What kind of paint did you use? I've already got a couple chips in my valve cover and the block is a bit on the dirty side, but it was just done to be cool, not show-worthy.
Then again, I'll soon have a new engine to paint up. I've already got the scheme in mind. It will be dope.

shit I don't even remember what brand the paint was. I got it from the machine shop i got the block done at. I wasn't as impressed after a couple thousand miles as I painted the VC and the intake mani the same color. Well the block being silver it turned a little yellow and the VC turned a little too.
I was pissed at the time but I got over it :)

I just got mine powdercoated as well as my ic piping. Most are like why did you do the vc red and the pipes blue? What I had in mine and I really didn't achieve the look in my eyes is to simulate the fuel system fittings look. The whole red/blue/silver theme. I plan on getting my blue ic pipes repowdercoated the same red as on my vc...and replace that ugly yellow top with a red top.

Originally posted by Aggression to simulate the fuel system fittings look. I can see that. Not too far off, just not fully representative. Hard to imitate little hose fittings on larger scale components.
Originally posted by Aggression If I have not yet said so, I like the heat sheild on the hot side. Nice touch. I also like the black engine bay in a lighter colored car like yours. I wonder if, subliminally, I got the idea to do that to mine from seeing pictures of yours? :wary

damn your engine bay looks sweet as hell bri! Plus I just think a full black engine bay puts the focus where it should be...and thats on the engine. Makes it look like it just floats in there. Man your engine bay is nice.

I planned on doing polishing the intake. Just finding the time has been my problem lately.
