I got some cheap brand from Procarparts.com and they would flicker like crazy. Like they had a short in the wire somewhere. The other day i was tryin to get them to stop, and i pulled the wire all the way too the right on the control module, and held it there. It stopped the flickering. So i just made sure that i mount it where the wire would be pulled tight to the right. Hopefully that might help!

mine are str8. AC autotechnics. I tried a pic, but it didn't work. I accidentally used the flash. RPM's Temp, fuel, and MPH all work correctly. Don't remove the needles. Use clear epoxy on the back side after they are down to hold 'em down.
