Just got my invader hood in the mail and was wondering how you guys(especially turbo guys) protect your carbon fiber hood from the heat.
I thought that some people had some sort of padding or whatever on the underside of their stock hood and i was wondering if/where you could get something like this TIA

You can get the factory heat shield from Mitsubishi for like $60, but I'm not sure too many carbon fiber hoods have the holes for that to get attached to.
