Went on pretty smooth, finding a place for the hood pins and drilling the holes was the hard part. Not very sunny out but heres some pics.
Next to come is... New Rims, CF Wangan wing, Stillen front. Then I can start on rebuild and turbo to back it all up.

OMG that is one of the nicest eclipses i have ever seen. that color looks AWESOME matched with that carbon hood. Great Job dude, keep up the good work.

Thanks man. And thanks for the tip on where to mount them! Did you have as many problems as i did trying to mount them on those tabs without the bolt hitting the back of the headlight. I used Sparco pins whick may have had a longer bolt. Let me tell you, It took me like 20mins to build up the nerve to drill through that pretty CF.

Here's my thinking on that wing. I was going to stay wingless seeing that i did a lot of work shaving the hatch. But, now that this hood went on, my car looks front heavy from the side view. I need a wing that will balance it out a bit and i need it to be CF to set off the hood.I hate high wings, And No, the Turbo wing will not look good on my car. I love low deck wings and the wangan is subtle yet enough to balance out the car. And i need to balance out the CF up front now.

The hood looks great, but like ^^^^ said, If I were you, I would get some black housing projectors. You dont have any chrome on your car. You have black or gunmetal rims it looks like and you have a carbon hood which is dark, therefor leading you to get darker housed headlights :)

Now, for the wangan wing! You got to be kidding!
Do not do that to your car dood, seriously. Its just my opinion, but if I were you, I wouldnt do it. Yes, they are rare, and its cuz they look so funky.

yah the cf hatch is pretty sweet and that is what I plan on getting after my motor is rebuilt. I will be selling my wing too if anyone knows anyone that wants to buy it.

Hey you wouldn't happen to have any pics of the hood popped with where you mounted the pins, i just bought the same hood off a board member and i wanna have a clearer idea on mounting the pins (i want them the way yours are)

Its a bitch. You can use the tabs behind the headlights, but be careful exactly where because the back of the headlights get in the way if your studs are too long. I used sparco pins and had problems finding a place as you can see from this pic vvvv. And those tabs are not in the same spot on each side. a lot of measuring. lol

But when i think about it, If i did that i might as well paint the roof black and go two tone look, otherwise the roof would look out of place. That could look good though, CF hood and Hatch with the rest of the upper half black.

Erebuni makes a rear lip type spoiler too, but I don't think you can get it in carbon fiber.

Hey, I know what wing would look really good with your car. I can't remember what it is called though. It is low, and flat. Instead of having two vertical mount things on each side of the hatch, it has one in the middle... I can't remember whos I saw that on... it was a dark green show eclipse with a CF hatch and hood and stuff... looked really good.

Either that or wingless! Seriously... both the wanker and the drag style wing look like crap ;) Please please please don't put either of them on. Good luck with w/e you choose though.

Headlights would make a world of difference. And I like the front you have now.

I am not a fan of the invader hood, but it flows damn good with your body kit, very nice. Yes i agree I dont like the chrome headlights, you should have bought the ones with the black housing, or even better open them up and paint the housing the same color as the car.

I LOVE THAT PAINT COLOR!! could you possibly share what paint color you used with the rest of us? I want to repaint mine a shade or two darker than that, but I really think it looks hot on your ride.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I am definitely getting different headlights, but not sure which ones yet. As for the paint, I wish i could tell you exactly how we made it but i cant because i dont know. I'll talk to my guy, but i doubt he'll tell me exactly. Believe it or not I'm actually getting sick of it. It's been this way for three years and about to go through its 4th PA winter as my daily driver. I do know he started with a Metallic Silver and then added Blue and Green to get it to end up like that.

Should i go with CF housing, Black housing, Or open them and paint them the same color as my car?

I dont think it would. It looks like its higher but its not.Its just really thick. It took the full drill bit for me to drill through for the pins. The underside is close to stock clearance. If your in my area, Its only 4 bolts we could test it out.

You should try the EVO style carbon fiber hood. It looks a bit raised up and it might just might clear that nasty equal length.
