Hey guys. I painted my hood , door, and hatch jambs on Wednesday. The color i finally decided on is House of Kolor Kandy Burple. I also bought a japanese front bumper for only $50 from this one guy i met. I am hopeing to paint the rest on Wednesday. What do you guys think?

Wow looks tight Ian. I shoulda done that color...where'd you get that bumper for only 50 bucks? Does the guy have any more? I would be interested in modifying it...

Also, I'm sure the color is House of Kolor Kandy Burple...my friend has it and the paint can says Burple...

it's nice man. i really like that color. especially if you added a nice pearl to it to make it shine more. and you go that bumper for 50 bucks? damn nice deal!

The paint is "kandy" so it already shines alot. The jambs are 2 coats of basecoat, 2 coats of kandy, and i coat of PPG clear. The outside of the car will be 2 coats of base, 3 or 4 coats of kandy, and 2 or 3 coats of clear.

The guy said his friend imported the bumper from Japan and he was going to put it on his sister's eclipse, but decided not to. So he just offered it to me for $50.

No cyan, you are wrong. I bought all the paint myself and it is called House of Kolor Kandy Burple. How are you going to tell me it is called blurple when i have 4 quarts of the basecoat and 4 quarts of the kandy in my garage right now?

my fault, i assumed it was blurple cause its a mix of blue and purple and the last two cars i saw with it, both guys told me themselves it was blurple and they were both in superstreet with the name blurple. this was over a year ago though, maybe HOK changed it. BUUURP!

Fuck mang looks kinda like my hood :-) anyway I think you should paint your dash white and have the blue for the trim and such. I love the bumper, I only wish I knew a Jap web site for body kits. But every thing looks tigh on your car I hope the the rest comes out great

love the color, mang! that bumper looks like sum kinda funky a$$ bomex type $h!t but i bet it will look hella sweet mounted and ish. gotta fill in those holes with some fog lights and stuff thou.

great color choice.. I was thinking of painting my car that color...
don't like the bumper too much (too many holes) but then again there is only 1 or two aftermarket bumpers i like.
