just ordered a Mcculloch HID kit, and i am lost as to where the black and white wires hook up too. where do they connect to the car? The directions are very vague and i am lost. i have the black as ground and i connected white from the kit to the white wires from my car and nothing. so i am lost. any help would be GREAT, since i have no headlights right now.

check your PM.... the wires go the other way around... its odd but its the way its suppose to work.

well i rewired the way you said and have white as my ground, but still not working. how did you wire yours? i wired each ground is grounded the frame and the positive is hooked up straight to the light bulb lead. is that how yours was?

I was considering this kit myself when I was looking for my HID kit... anyways... from what I know the Mcculloch kit is plug and play just like the kit that I bought... there should be a wire harness that plugs from the stock headlight connection in the headlight housing to the ballast, from the ballast there should be a connection that will connect to the igniter, and from the igniter there should be a connection that connects to the HID bulb... there should be only one way that everything connects together, meaning that you can't plug anything in where its not supposed to be... hope this helps a little more...

thanks for the response. i have that kit except i am using halo projector housings instead of the stock. so maybe that is my issue? i dunno. i have everything wired as it shows just dont have that harness that connects to the stock housing b/c like i said i am ustin the halo projectors. thanks for all your help and any more ideas would be appreciated!! ughh this is just annoying me. i figured it would be easy but the install has just been a pain in the ass.

What year car do you have? I don't have any white wires in my factory harness. Here's a pic of my '98 wires. Maybe that would help. My low beam wires are black(hot)and green(ground).

wooo finally got it to work. thanks for all your help. realized that the projectors i am using the green is ground not power as was said above. thought it was power. woo thanks again!! they look sweet.
