Alright, looks as if my hood will arrive the day before I leave for the Carshow. What i need to know is, where did you guys mount your hood pins and were you ok drilling through the Carbon fiber. Pics of where you mounted would be great. I have pins now, but where they are mounted wont work with the invader. I want them out near the corners. The reason i'm asking this is, since i will be cutting it close time wise, i want to be ready and know what i'm going to do.
TIA!

go for the corners where the push up rubber things are. use lots of masking tape to keep it from chipping and drill slowly from the top. kinda let the drill do the work, dont force it. Should be good to go. to clean the edge of the hole if you need to use 220grit sandpaper wrapped around a sharpie or a pencil. THEN use the sharpie to color in the inner portion of the hole back to black. does that make sense? it will hide any fraying CF strands.

Makes perfect sense, thats what i was thinking about the tape. Kinda like the scotch tape on inflated balloon , you can put a pin through it and it wont pop. thanks DJ. I totally forgot to look a Evmans old 2G. I like where his are, but i want to see how Aggresion did his before i decide. Watch the hood wont even get here in time. I will be sooo pissed. I sent payment via paypal on 9/1

BTW, Any special drill bit better for CF?

they go right on those tabs that your hood prop snap clip is attached too. It right above where your headlight seal cups are.

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

That's the first car that I REALLY like that hood on...

With that bumper, and the color, and hood pin placement... it looks really hot! Really nice!
