so im driving down route 1 at like 70 today, and all of a sudden i hear a loud ass explosion above my head. i look up, and my whole sunroof is shattered. luckily, glass didnt fall on me on my way home, but at this point the whole glass is shattered and cracked in like 8 different places. can anyone here help out? i need to replace my sunroof and i dont know how to, and im trying to find a carbon fiber one too. if you know anything, let me know.

haha you guys are crazy. no honestly it was scary shit. i thought a bomb went off somewhere and the vibes shattered my glass. i set off 1/4 sticks all the time and it was pretty scary. haha. o and by the way i was burnin some mj when it happened... buzzkill.

o and never mind about the cf sunroof im gonna make one out of fiberglass. ive been working with it for a while now on my interior and i want tsomething custom so im shooting for a hood scoop that no1 else makes or has. any ideas??

i would just replace it with another glass sunroof, but that's just me. I hate roof scoops, they're gay. Anyway, you probably had a small crack somewhere on your glass, and maybe the wind made it hit somewhere along your roof causing the "explosion"

same thing happened when i was in my buddies car...we were drivin and all of a sudden his passenger side windshield just exploded..its scary as hell when it happens

Where do they have/sell Carbon Fiber Sunroofs??

I'm tired of hearing about this carbon fiber sunroof fucking idea, what the shit is that? You want a big black panel on top of the car to offset the paint? Go big or go home with it. Just buy the glass and replace it there are plently of people who have parts cars and sunroofs they can sell you. It would take probably 30 minutes to un-due the the allen screws and drop a new sliding glass in. On another note, glad to hear you are ok and didn't get hurt.

actually it would look good if u got a hood to match there guy. id rather have a black panel to help my tints look darker and reduce weight, then risk having another heavy sunroof shatter overtop my head again for NO REASON AT ALL. carbon fiber would definitely be better in weight, looks, and safety wise.

i think what he is sayin is that it was just look kind of goofy having a random sqaure of cf on your roof; unless of course you paint match it.
