88425, Foglight Question Posted by Eagle420a, Aug-28-05 08:49 AM
Well I recently purchase a set of oem foglights, the first question is i would like to use the oem switch cause i found on at the junkyard i also have the plug that goes into the switch with extra wire hanging off of it(You will see in the picture), my next question is how can i get the screws off of the foglight to switch the bulbs because the some screws got striped from the previous owner. pics below, thanks

If it was me, I would dremel the heads off and if there was a little meat left after the housing was off try and vice grip them out or drill them out and replace with self tappers once the bulb was changed.

This recently happened to my drivers side when I was replacing the bulbs for the third time. I was gonna cut it off/easy out the screw but my smallest easy out broke off. So I was really mad and luckily it was only 1 screw. So i bent the bitch back far enough to allow me to take the light out/put new one in. Then I bent it back into place and tightened the other 2 screws. Next time the bulbs go out... Yeah. Not sure yet.
