i finally took the factory skirts that have been sitting in my garage for a year to a body shop today...300 to get them painted 300 for install.so i figured i would just put them on myself. i searched for a writeup, couldnt find anything so i guess im just looking for pointers. TIA

Paint price is fine for it to be done right. Install price is a little much.

^^ what he said! just install them yourself, its real easy just get two people to hold up while you bolt it up. just remember it probably wont end up being a flush factory look but no one has ever said anything about mine. good luck and dont pay someone 300 for what you could do in less than 5-10 minutes

if you can install stock side skirts on a car that didn't come with them in 5 minutes then you installed them incorrectly.

that is a shitty install price though.

actually they came out good, i have to redo my driver side but the passenger side looks stock. also keep in mine this was just the side skirts no door caps. not sure what it took everyone else but all i did was have two friends hold it up and i marked where to drill. Ive had them on like this for five months now and not a single problem so dont know what to tell you. when i finally get my car repainted ill post some pictures for you to see, but i do have on here a post not to long ago with some pictures of my sides so feel to look if you wanna see.

edit: also it may have been shorter for me since i had them for a year before the install and i would sit and test fit them whenever i was bored.
