My car definitely needs a repaint, since this paint is basically done for and is scratched through the paint all over the place. to get touchups, it was $1700cdn for all dents and scratches so I am just going to repaint the entire damn car.
I am torn between a bunch of different colors. Let me know which one you like best, and if you can be so kind just spend a sentence saying why you like that color.. convince me your choice is the best one :) Thanks

Just plain old black.. not my fav, it shows scratches too easy, but it does look badass


or pay $1700 and touch up the pimptastic purple, like in my sig
the only body mods my car will ever see is a good lowering job (coming, so don't mention it), 95-96 talon skirts, and a 97-99 eclipse front bumper. maybe a custom ducktail spoiler. but let's hear it for the different colors.

i really like that silver one. not sure of the name of the color, but i know the owner is a member on here. definitely my pick is that one.

Leave it purple get the duck wing, do the 99 front with sides and shave the antenna.

I'm painting my car HOK candy apple red. Beautiful color. Nuff said.

Do the blue to match the center of your rims. :\

Paint it the beautiful copper color.. i think it's durango orange. You could have one of the only Copper Talons. Your car would sweetness at that point.

That green pearl would be nice or maybe a dark olive/ gunmetal green.

I love FlyinEsi's color! I would paint my car that color only if I had my car completely stripped, because if I do a color change I dont want a spec of red left on it.

I vote Oslo green or Durango copper, they're factory colors but unique and different, they stand out but they're not in your face look at me kind of stand out.

I personally like the "weird luxurous" color, thank you very much, and it is called Charcoal Metallic Pearl off of a 95 300zx. But personally, if I could, I would repaint my car the new gunmetal color of the VW Jetta's. A little darker than my color, much more gunmetal, and a lot more metallic sparkles. Looks amazing!

I would do that, or go with a nice dark blue with metallic.

Agreed, Blues and Silvers in heavy metallic are very nice! Prep needs to be perfect with a metallic though. It's your car do what you want.

I say the Electric Green that they started using on Mustangs in 2001 or so with some gold or silver pearl in the clear.

cadillac white. its soo cool (temp whise) in the summer. do a pearl white with a red or blue pearl clear.

Agreed. I think Durango Copper was only for Eclipses during 95. That being said, here's my reasoning...

Every other Copper Eclipse I see is an absolute beater, or has the gray trim at the bottom of the body-kit (only for 95s)

Copper and the WICKED DARK GREEN color, never made it to 96, they lightened up the green to a darkish teal color, and then left out copper until 97-99, where they had something more reddish/orange and darker than the original Durango Copper.

NEVER EVER seen a talon in Copper. I think they got the most popular colors but not copper, cuz it's "rare"

Does anyone agree with me switching to 99 bumpers, and keeping the gray trim around my bumpers, but painting them black? Never seen it on an Eclipse, and I sure as hell want to do it.

Get that deep silver colour, it looks nice. Are you getting the door jams and under the hood painted as well? Because it will look pretty gay if you don't. haha But whatever, it'll probably end up costing a fortune :D

I'll probably do what that guy with the silver Civic did, he said National (I think) painted everything but doorjams and underhood for $1700 and then he painted the doorjams and that himself. Right now I'm debating between oslo green pearl and FlyinESi's color.. I like that gray you've got too, though... so hard to choose. and so much money involved :( maybe I should just get a FMIC instead!

Yea right now I am saving my ass off, every damn penny. I still do have the bumper, you can have it eventually. haha :D or whenever you get your car painted give me a call and I'll let you take it. You can pay me later or whatever.
