Im about 75% done with making a center console mold to make a CF console. The thing Im having a problem with deciding is the cup holder/ashtray panel. I want to make it to where instead of that being there its just a flush solid piece. This would make it to where someone could put guages, swithes, SAFC, or in my case my MS or my wbo2. I figure if I start making these like this and people by them, that means there already modding there interior atleast and can do without a cup holder. Besides some Eclipses came with a cupholder in the armrest, my did.

I also am 90% done with making the door vent panels where your door handle and heater vent is.

So whatcha guys think?

if you are wanting an opinion on whether to keep or get rid of the cupholder, i say get rid of it. that's how i would want it.

I need my cup holder. Ever try going to Taco Bell and sitting a drink in your lap or in the next seat? It ain't pretty.

I'd like a cup holder. A bigger one, if you can, the stock one is too fuckin small.

yeah, i wouldnt give up my cupholder. If anything, I would like another, cuz the one in the armrest sucks.

Hmmm well actually fabbing a cupholder to be bigger or add 2 there wouldnt really be a productive piece. What would happen if I didnt make the console flush there is, it would look like they way yours does now when you take out that cupholder panel. So really you would have a CF console with a grey cupholder.

Let me see what happens with the flush mount. Its not like I cant make 2 molds, one with, one without. Then maybe I will look into making something along the lines of what you guys are talkin about.

Oh and if any of you are wondering, if this does work out, it will be a direct replacement.
