86919, expected cost for leather conversion Posted by amljbs, Jul-06-05 05:32 PM
Im trying to get an idea of what this should cost me so I dont get raped by these places. Im looking to have all the seats recovered in leather possibly two tone black and beige front and back seats. Any ideas as to what this should run me?

$800 for the leather, maybe $400 for install. If you look around online you can see some retailers for geniuine prefit leather kits cost around $800 then you need to figure an install cost which may very depending on supplies and other stuff they do to prep up your seats. They may add some cushioning to it etc. If you do leather I would highly recomend getting a set of seat heaters installed if you live in an area that has cold winters. I will be having this done some time or another if I ever find someone that can open up my seats and put a little more padding on the sides.

There is a shop around here that we deal with all the time that will install leather for $995.00. If you're close to Nashville, their name is Cole Bros. They do pretty good work too.
