86875, one more gauge to install Posted by totaleclipse_05, Jul-04-05 10:18 AM
what would u guys recommend for a 3rd gauge for an a-pillar pod. i already have a volt and a oil pressure gauge and i wasn't sure what to get for the 3rd one. im NA right now so i dont need any turbo related gauges yet. im looking to stay with the autometer ultra-lite gauge type and electrical. does anyone think i should get a water temp gauge or does the stock one work good enough? any opinions welcome.

buy an air fuel gauge. It's still good to know if your car is running lean or rich. It's pretty neat to watch that leds sweep all over the place too. catchs peoples attentions at red lights.

or egt gauge also good to have and you'll want it if you ever go turbo

Holy 81 bucks for a clock!?!?!?!
Damn I would just get a sticky clock from walmart for a dollar if I wanted to know the time and have it in my car!
I would say A/F too!

I am N/A for now and have oil pressure, EGT, and A/F. These are great for either staying N/A or going turbo. If you have turbo plans, I say get a vacuum/boost. Until you get your turbo intalled it will read vaccum and will help you adjust your SAFC properly (as far as 5in/out, etc).

dont buy an air/fuel gauge from autometer, its a nbo2 and isnt even accurate. it looks cool ya, sometimes that is, but put your money into something that will actually help you with tuning. get a wbo2 or egt or something, or fuel pressure.
