86660, East Coast? Who Can Paint?
Posted by EclipseTenzoR, Jun-25-05 07:22 PM
I am considering being a cheap little whore and installing and painting my turbo wing myself. I don't want to spend $800 and I think I could do just a good of a job as Macco if not better because I actually give a shit how my car turns out unlike most macco shops. So.. Any suggestions or if anyone would be willing to help me out with this please reply. I have 4 months to get the major shit done to my car before I leave for boot camp. Then after that the car comes with me to Florida and I doubt I will have the free time to do stuff like this.

By the way I am in South Jersey

are you wanting the have the old spoiler holes shaved as well, meaning having to paint the quarters, hatch, and wing?

Yea, the holes filled entire hatch repainted. I want everything to match I don't want any cheap color variations. I am also taking off my rear wiper.

Jesus, thats a good price. Thats a lot of holes to fill and tough blending on the Quarters. Not to mention welding in plates on the bigger holes..Wiper, Center hole etc.

i shaved my whole hatch, wiper, spoiler holes, washer squirter and the holes in each quarter in one night and that was just putting it in primer so it would probably take me about 2 days to do everything.

and CustomGS, yea i try and keep my prices as affordable as i can without losing my ass on deals and without sacrificing quality.
