Finally got my car running, so its time for me to finsh up the exterior and interior, some pics have my wife's 97 escort. Enjoy, i know i still need more work, i am painting it a nice black when i am done with everything.

Thanks, i am gonna shave the door handles when the car gets painted. It has been running good, so i am happy driving since its been down for almost 2 years.

i think it'd look good with the windows tinted too. what color you painting it?

Black is what i am leaning towards. I like tinted windows, but i dont think i will be tinting the windows on my eclipse, i live down here in Georgia and cops down here look for everything to pull you over even if you have legal tint. Thanks for the comments.

i wouldnt shave your handles though if you race alot at the track cuz most tracks wont allow shaved door handles.

and lastly, everything looks nice as hell, you should paint it black with a gold or red pearl.

where did you get those hood hinges to allow the hood to sit straight up...? those would be a god send for me.

ya for real, i thought the ends of the hood would hit the body of the car if you opened your hood that far.

looks really nice, what kind of front bumper is that? that car will look sick when its done.

He has the buddy club 2 rear and sides with the R34 aka Octane front.

Thanks for the comments, i appreciate it. As for the hood hinges, it is a funny story. My hood was not latched all the way one time and it flew up and hit my window when i started to drive.. It bent it back a little and ever since whenever i have the carbon fiber hood on it goes back as far as the window. It wont do it with the stock hood, the hinges hit the car. I just like the cf hood until i get the bar to hold the hood up since i threw the one i had away a while ago. Thanks for letting me know about the track and shaved door handles, i may not do that then. Aggression is right, the kit is Buddy Club 2 sides and rear and R34 front. That is my wife on the car, she takes more care of her car then i do mine, so i know she wouldn't scratch or mess anything up on my car. Thanks again.

If your going to paint it black, I would suggest getting rid of/painting the chrome headlights.

They are not chrome headlights, they are just carbon fiber overlay dual projectors. They are the APC, but i didnt know until i received them from ebay that they were apc. They dont look anything like chrome in person, so it really doesnt look bad. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I WANT those side skirts.

Going to get some f1 fenders, drifter front and blitz rear bumpers from v-fiber soon and i found the perfect skirt to pull it all off. Wasn't going to go with a kit but if i change my mind, it's not hard to swap bumpers....

Funny thing is, i was searching for a shaved door handle write up. My passenger side handle was missing when i bought the car and why not shave them instead of buying a new set?

Haha, i am going to be taking pics and hopefuly video of my car on the dyno within the next week or so. I just got the portfueler installed 2 weeks ago. 20psi on my sc6169 felt nice, but want some numbers and my portfueler tuned. Thanks for the comment. Your car looks nice as hell, i still need a paint job.

I would keep it wingless,looks so much better very clean look.

What Turbo kit is that, soo mine will be turbo'd and possibly 5spd manuel swap but heard there's problems with manuel trannys so I'm might stay with ATX rebuilt with stronger parts.

The car has been down those 2 years, haha. I have had nothing but problems with my car. Thats what happens when you order a block from howell automotive and wait forever for it, only to find out later that is was a high compression block with everything i didnt order. I am more into the performance aspect, not looks, so exterior will be done when i am satisfied with my motor and dyno numbers.
