well my dash lights work when the key is in the off position but when i turn the key all the dash light turn off. any ideas of why they turn off

Do you have any aftermarket lights in the car? Did you install something and then the lights stopped working? The problem you are describing really is not common with stuff that just gets old and stops working. It sounds like a ground problem.

yeah i put the LEDs in there about 2 weeks ago but they were working fine until today
