86505, RS with a sunroof

hey guys,
I don't know if such a topic has ever been posted
but i have a RS but i reaaallly want a sunroof
abviously i can buy a GS . but i invested alot of money in my car
and it would be a waist to sell it .
is it possible to cut the roof and buy a sunroof from a junkjark or something?
would it damage the structure of the roof if i did that?

I have an aftermarket power sunroof installed in my RS. It isn't as nice as the factory one but it still works real nice. I have not had any issues with it and its been in for almost 6 years.

Jason ESI-T had a factory roof installed for like $800 at the dealer.

My RS came with a sunroof...course I bought it used. Was it only an option like that or was there some other package for the RS? I ask only because I have a power sunroof and power nothing else, and I guess that just seems odd....

My rs also came with a sunroof and power everything, djtrickee knows the "package" name that was an option, I forget the name of it.

It was an option. It was called the "power package" it had power windows, locks, stock alarm and sunroof. But still drums in rear and non-powered antenna. lol.

no, I will say that is fucked up as I do also have a power antenna and rear disk's. Maybe I should do a car fax on mine.

my 1st eclipse was a RS with the "power package" listed on the window sticker, but no power antenna and those wack-ass drums

i also have a power package but i think mine was a little bit different.
I got the power windows and locks along with cruise but no alarm, sunroof, still have rear disks and no power antenna.

weird i got the power nothing package, but my door handles and side mirrrors were painted? strange huh. edit I heard that all eclipses came with mounting points for a factory sunroof.

I have power door locks and windows. Nothing else is power though. No sunroof.

What the fucks the point to even call it an RS then? lol Did those rims come with the car, too? Because those are GS rims.
