Hey everyone, thought I would post some pics of my car since im new here. Right now I am saving all my money for a turbo so any exterior stuff is on hold. I do want to paint the middle center piece of the tail lights soon though. :P Car is a 96 by the way.

I love everything except the muffler and the shifter! Everything else looks clean as hell and I know that living in PA its not an easy task keeping that car clean since I was born and raised in PA.

THe car came with muffler but I will do something about that( suggestions on a good sounding muffler yet not to loud) and I do want B&M short shifter yet right now money is for turbo. Was hoping Turbo8u was still offering that deal of shortening shifter but cant get ahold of him. Those are just seat covers and that is a carbon fiber dash kit. PA is a bitch especially now with the pollen and a black car, it wont stay clean for a day even.

I second that! PA is shit when it comes to road quality. Car looks great man. Convert that baby to 97-99 body and lights. Where abouts in pa are you?

I think both of you are pretty far from me. Im pretty much south central on the MD line.

clean car bro. i cant ream you too much on the muffler..i have that one (was on the car also when i bought it...wtf???) but i finally got sick of the gay little angled peices at the end. so i took off my axle back, broke out the cut-off wheel...and hacked those peices off, so its just a straight DTM. although....that muffler is getting ditched as soon as my new N1 comes in. that DTM has too much resonance for me and is too damn loud. i suggest an N1 or N1 knockoff for your next muffler.

also about the short shifter...why send it to anyone? remove the shifter, break out with a hacksaw or cut off wheel, cut a section of it out...and pay a muffler shop (or anyone with a tig welder) $5 to weld it back up for you. no need to send it to anyone and pay for shipping and all that. its not an exact science.

as far as lighting goes..with your black car...i suggest you take your headlights apart and paint the insides black...like the 97-99. gives your car a fresh new look. i recently did this in the spring...and i must say it is one of the best mods iv done visually. and as far as the fog lights go...i used to have the generic projector fogs...but i suggest getting a pair of 96 OEM fogs. gives the smiley a bit more bark. just a few suggestions. keep up the good work!

Car looks very nice. For your shifter, just call up a couple local muffler shops and ask them what they would charge to cut about an inch out of a piece if 1/2" steel then weld the two ends together. Tell them you want to shorten the length of a stick shift. Shouldn't cost more than $10-$20. Pull the shifter, get a ride to and from, reinstall, and you're done.
