aside from freeing up space in the engine compartment, is there was there any other reason for movin the battery around?
And for the record, i'm not nockin it... i think its awesome actually... looks tight as all get out. Just wondering why...

one could make the racers argument about weight distrabution, but other than that, theres really no reason to do it EXCEPT in my case: which was done because i had no good place to mount my MSD DIS 2 effectively. so i did it to free up some room.

It is not good for a drag racer to put the battery in back, but for people who like to use their steering wheel for something other than hitting the wall <snicker>, this is good for weight distribution.

i see you have the red top optima battery, did you have any problems with yours? i had to exhcange mine 3 time before i got one that acually held a charge

I had the red top and it kept dying. THe 4th time I got the yellow type and havent had a prob since.
