not literally. gross. but anyways ive been driving my talon with the big loopy eclipse 1 piece turbo spoiler AND my talon's boomerang trunk spoiler. looked good, but i wanted just the eclipse one. found a paint I THOUGHT matched my aftermarket paint. Ok so i take the boomerang spoiler off and first I do a shitty job instant-steeling the holes. i filled them pretty smooth but not smooth enough. THEN I did a bad job polishing the parts of the car that had been covered up all these years and looked like crap. then i sprayed what i thought matched and the silver was WAY off. so then i had a non matching silver with roughly filled holes in it. i punched out the holes i had filled and just put the boomerang back on. ill have to pay and get the paint matched i guess, and spend alot more time filling the holes. bye

Damn that sucks. To properly shave the holes from the spoiler, you need to first weld metal over it, then smooth it out. If you just use bondo alone, it will sink in or crack after a while...

well he's gonna quote ya california prices which doesn't apply to the rest of us cause those bastards get everything cheap over there but here in the nati it'll cost ya 500 to get them welded sanded and painted like no spawla was ever there.

DAMN!! well i planned on going with the wings west 3pc spoiler so there would only be a few holes that would need to be filled. So it wouldnt be that high. I wish I knew someone in North Kakalaki or VA that could hook a brother up

Hey 500 sounds decent. Cyan said it was 800 when he did it. I think we'd charge around 450 or so to weld all the holes and repaint. If you were getting an entire paint job anyways, it'd probably be around 350 or so to just weld the holes and smooth it out.

remind me and when I get home i'll post pics of my old spoiler. It was the stock GS one, then a turbo spoiler mounted on top of it, didnt look 1/2 bad... but I like the stillen commando wing 10x better.

got all the holes from my stock 95 rs 3 piece shaved cuz i have a aluminum wing now.. i also got my door handles shaved and my antenna shaved.. then i had my kit put on and the back and sides molded in. then painted light silver with a fuchia pearl... the total was 1700 bucks.. was 15 at first but my sides didnt fit right and had to cut them and make them fit.. but 500 just to shave and paint some holes is kinda pricey... but u do have to paint alot..hmm

you can also try filling those holes with fiberglass... It will take a while to cure properly and once they have cured you can have them grounded and smoothed out and then painted

Well if you want it done right professionally, you gotta pay. Most places now are charging over 2k for a paint job alone, without any shaving, so most of the time you get what you pay for, unless you got good hookups...
