Okay i finally saved up enough money to buy my racing seats but I really need help deciding which color to get. My whole interior is going to be black and carbon fiber. I'm getting the sparco Torino, but I dont know if I should get the all black or the black and grey..

Either, those are the exact kind Im gonna get eventually but mine are gonna be red :). But honestly for you, go either way cause both would look good but if I were you I would get all black :)

good news and bad news. Good news is I ended up upgrading and getting the milano seats (ya know the ritzy suede ones), and I got a GREAT deal. They retail for 899 a piece plus shipping. I got a pair shipped for 1300.00. Bad news is they only had Black and Grey in stock. I'm sure they'll still look good, and they'll be more noticeable because theyre not all black. I'm trying to make myself feel better, I really wanted all black. I hope I dont hate them.

Well you should be able to get your money back by reselling if you don't.

I had a set of racing seats before, not a great name brand or anything but racing seats none the less. They made me sit too damn high and that is why I got rid of them. I am only 5'11" and my head was hitting the headliner while sitting in them half slunched over. If I sat straight up my head would have to be cocked sideways. This is the only thing from stopping me from getting another pair. I loved the way they felt and hugged you while doing hard turns.

The wonderful thing about stuff like suede is that it's Dyeable, sooo, if you dont like the color much, but love the seats, then find some leather dye(assuming they're actually suede, and for the price I assume they are) and match the grey to the black, and if it's a shade lighter, not much to worry about since your interior is kinda 2toned with black and CF as is..... If you cant find the dye easily, i'm sure someone here could give you a resource...

for the price of a set of Sparcos that lasts five years you could have three sets of Tenzos that last two and a half years each, three years if you only drive the car in summer.. at least in Calgary anyway, anything that is even half-decent or better costs far more then it does in the states (SAFCs are $700 brand new)

My ex had tenzos and they lasted about a month. They fell apart, the plastic pieces in the headrest kept falling out and all the material kept folding at the ends. They were shit.

and my buddy used to have blue sparcos that faded very badly after three years, so he sold them and got Tenzos that have lasted two years with no fade and no falling apart since he couldn't justify spending $2,800 on seats.

I would only get sparco's if I got a good deal on them or came into a bunch of money. I rode in a 350Z that has the sparco milano's and man they hug you so nicely and are so comfy. Plus taking corners they hug you so you don't lean and I like that feeling when you taking a bend real fast and you don't start leaning into the passenger seat.

In due time my friend, all in due time. I decided that since I basically can't drive my car anyway due to fucking my front end up every time I go anywhere that the stock transformation is coming before the boost, but I plan on being boosted at the shootout.
