That ain't a 2g - looks like a 240sx.

You know what i think your right. At first i thought it was the 2G with the Silvia conversion and a widebody..But now that i look at the trunk.. And the window sills. Nevermind.. Still cool show car though.

The image URL says eclipse but I think they are wrong. The shape of the door windows give it away. Can you find any other pics of the car?

I'm confused now... I've seen that silvia conversion on an eclipse before and it looks like it has the widebody from gtp inter. But the wouldve had to change the doors because our windows arent enclosed on top with the door open..Oh and its not a hatchback either..

look at the engine...it is clearly sideways so therefore it cant be a 240sx...its a Cavilear (spelling?)

look at the headlights. I think its a sunfire personaly.

That's definitely a Queervalier.

It's a Cavalier. It was featured in the December 2004 issue of Car Audio and Electronics. The website is www.caraudiomag.com but I can't find anyother pictures of it.

Yup u can also tell because it has a trunk lid instead of a hatch lid and on the door windows they have part of the body frame or whatever, while as in the eclipse and 240 they r just window. so def.a Queervalier

Yea, I saw that car last year at HIN.. Its a Cavaleir.. It's actually pretty cool to see it in person so I give it some respect for the kind of money thats in it. It's got a nice suspension setup on it too, which is completely automated by a laptop, so it does it own thing at the shows. Pretty neat system.. You'd have to see it in person to respect it if you are diss'n it now. But trust me.. I deff looked upon hookedup cavys..this one was done pretty cool though.

This is a cavalier owned by Bob Mull, His car won Best of Show at 6 straight HIN's last season along with many other trophies from HIN, He won so many times in a row that they had to make a rule change. hes actually selling it. GM just GAVE him a cobalt SS to fix up.

ya it was on ebay 2 weeks ago. I seen it at HIN Cleveland, OH last fall, real nice car actually although its a cavalier.
I think it sold for like 22k or something on ebay though, who knows if the goof actually paid for it tho.

as ugly as that car is, i really have to admire the work that went into it. the screens everywhere (on the trunk top?) and the speakers under the hood are a bit much though. kinda makes me want to do a neon=>eclipse body conversion just for shits and giggles.

The whole fiberglass enclosure with the speakers and screens is removable. The car is driven some but it is basically a TrailerBitch. he has another Cav that he has modded that he drives.

its too bad he wasted all of that money for an ugly car. Even though I can appreciate the craftsmanship(if he actually did it) I still can't understand why you would put that much money into a car you wouldn't even drive.

Sad to say, but the majority of serious show cars are never driven on the street. And if they are, they aren't driven very often. These cars are too delicate and too risky to leave parked anywhere. Just driving from home to a car show can yield rock chips in the front bumper/hood, so many cars that do drive either use bubble wrap on the front bumper, or take the bumper off. I have a friend whose car was painted the night before a show. He tried to drive it the next morning. Needless to say, he ended up having to repaint the front end of it because the freeway wind made waves in the still wet paint.

I may rice my car out, but at least I drive it everyday. I can't stand trailor queens. What fun is it, if you can't even drive it?

Bob Mull is in some club, i forget the site, but THEY pay for you to go to shows and win money pretty much. He has brought in soo much money from that cavalier its rediculous. Obviously he had to start it out with his own cash and then he got sponsored and got all that audio and shit and then had someone build all that shit on ONE of his MANY sponsors. cavalier, yes gay, but i give him MAAAAAAD props for how it looks. i mean c'mon, some of you guys couldnt even figure out it was a cavalier right....:) so anyway, i would say i am somewhat jealous of Bob just cuz he is living the life of a shitload of money just from a car, daily driven or trailor queened. i would take it, just to get a lot of money like he has done! flame me or whatever, but i think SOME would agree with me.

if you scroll down to post 16 you can see the many changes this car has gone through. It started as a daily driver and has even been on the track, many of the things done to the car he paid for himself and then he eventually picked up some sponsors. I have spoke to him many times really nice guy.

Why so much hatred for Cavaliers? Hell they are economy cars just like 2G's. Both have a sporty model and base models. I guess I just like cars and don't like to rip on others just cause it isn't what I own? I mean hell how many times have you guys heard that 2GNT's are chick cars? Same thing really. And as far as boosted Cavaliers and 2GNT's go, they have had many cars on J-Body.org get 230 whp with stock bottom ends. Sure they have 0.4 more liters than us but still that's just splitting hairs. All this is just my opinion. Thanks for letting me give it.

P.S. They ( The Z's and GT's) are about a second quicker stock than we are also unless I'm mistaken.
