I've been looking for stock 97-99 headlights, couldnt find them so i decided to make my own. i've been sick and tired of my crap chrome projectors, so i decided to take them apart, and save the lens. I got my old 96 headlights, and opened those up, took the chrome piece from it, and painted it black, and cut the tip of it, so that it would fit on the 97-99 lens from the projector. well put them together, and it game me a pretty decent looking headlight. looks like the stock 97-99.

edit: oh, i also finally put my 97-99 bumpers on. thats why i used the lens from the projector. I also followed Squids method of wet sanding, and it came out nice and clear.

Interesting, and yes your pictures do suck, good outcome though from what I can see. Good way to work with what you got.

yeah, i'll take pics tomorrow in the daytime, but yeah, instead of spending money, i ended up with some nice headlights for free...hehe. Oh and i'm glad to finally have some real light coming out of the headlight. I couldnt see shit back when i had the projectors.

Very nice.. and yea projectors are pretty worthless and crappy unless you have some HIDs in them. Mine pissed me off before I had HIDs.
