alright kinda debating whether to do this or not for summertime? there are very few eclipses with this done in my town. Do you guys think it looks good? I plan on buying a spare just in case I don't like it. Post your opinions anyways.

it looks nice only if there are more accents in the interior for it to flow with. I can be honest and say I wish I didn't paint any of mine though, and am slowly turning it around as I get replacements. It does look nice I just got bored of it is all.

i'm assuming your talkin about the tail lights...i really like the way mine looks and if you have a spare you can change as often as you like, i have altezzas and can have 3 different looks that i like...all altezzas, altezza sides painted center, stock sides painted center, they all look different and nice and it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to switch the look whenever you want

keep it stock, looks better imo. but if you do decide to paing it, at least put the 'eclipse' letting back on. dont know why people take it off..

debadging is better. take em off with dental floss or thread. then goo gone. no one should have to read what your car is to appreciate it.

yeah i agree with debadging, a car looks alot cleaner with all emblems removed....unless you got like a ferrari or sumthin in which id want everyone to read FERRARI. I usually like the painted look, it just depends on the color of your car. Like if your car was black, i think it would look better with Tinted Tail Lights, or if your car was red Id just take the letters Eclipse off.

I like the debadged look and painted center tail. As long as it all matches. :thumbsup

If someone admiring your car is so much of an idiot that they can't figure it out without reading Ferrari on the side then I wouldn't give 2 shits about their opinion anyway.

Painted and debadged is by far the sexiest option!!

Go to a sign making place or someone that does sticker graphics and ask then to put a sticker on the center piece. If you cover the hole real well it'll look like it's molded. It only works with a color that's easy to match, black or white. I had this on my car for like 2 years, no fade, looked badass for only $20.

i love the look of debadged and painted, especially if the car is white. i LOVE the way it looks, so f-ing sweet. but definently make sure u have matching paint or else it can turn out very tacky.

what would be the proper steps to making it turn out good? primer, paint, clear? how many coats of each?

I'm not sure if I want to de-badge her yet =?

I took my "ECLIPSE" off so I could put a chrome diamond star on, sits right under the keyhole for the hatch. I think it looks good...
