They're more like brushed silver now... I've tried black, I've tried red, and I just like the polished silver look because it's different and not too blingy. Thanks always for the compliments/suggestions! :D

Freaking sweet as hell man!

I have just one question: Did you have to do a lot of wiring on your projectors or where they pretty much plug and play?

If you could PM me where you got them, I have been looking for a decent pair that look that good!

Again great job...your car looks great!

Heh, yeah... That sucked... I PMed him and told him all about it. It just sucks when you're a BANME! like me and don't know what you're doing. Now that I've done it once, I could have someone's hood off and install those projectors in a coupla hours... :D

About 2 weeks. I got the same one as you, If you wire a switch to the halos and keep them off when the actual headlights are on you should not have a problem. I should have done that but I didn't.

What is so hard about putting your headlights in? I pulled the harness from the old lights connected them and wired in the halo's in less than an hour. Yea my halo's went out after 2 weeks so I pulled the headlights apart and replaced them with some nice blue ones from Radio Shack and painted the inside to match my car. I am also using Amber LED turn signals so they are clear during the day and really bright at night. Also how is your light output on those cause one of mine is slightly worse than the other eventhough I am using Silverstars.

what's so hard is that i suck and it was my first time taking the bumper off a '99. i thought they were plug n play as advertised, but they weren't, and that cost extra time, too. halo's are still strong after 2.5 months. i have silverstars in my fog lights, but the ebay projectors still have ebay bulbs in them, and i must say they are just as good as my stocker 9006/9005's were. i need to aim them a little, but there's no REAL way to aim them except to loosen 'em, mash 'em down the way u want 'em, and put the whammy on the bolts...

lejeune, good job man, your halos look nice

i must have the old school halos because mine still work :)
and it baffles me too that it took you that long to put in headlights... let me guess... u didnt know about "THE BOLT" lol
and if i guessed right youll know what i am talking about. it really was unnecessary to take off your front bumper etc. just my op.
nice that u did it yourself instead of um.. paying a shop 100 bucks to do it i guess

well, like i said, i suck. i don't claim to be good at this, and i really haven't done much work on ANY car before, but i'm learning with this one, and having a good time doing it. it's very rewarding when it turns heads. i don't have my own garage, so i have to use a friend's place when he leaves town. i asked a guy how to take of the bumper, and he said 5 bolts on top, 2 inside each fender. he didn't tell me about all the other poppers, and the 2 screws under each headlight, so i wasn't prepared. i really don't see how it would have been possible to get to the bottom bolts on the headlight housings without taking the bumper off, but i'll take your word for it. maybe one of the 10 guys i talked to with new halos should have mentioned that to me when i was asking questions. :P but like i said, i could probably do it all, including splicing and soldering in about 2 hours, so eat me. :P JK... anyways, i have some 18" ASA AR1's coming soon, black with chrome lip. they're kinda played, but i just think they'll look good with my ride... thanks all.
