8446, Bumper cover????? Posted by mrlocalpimp, Nov-15-01 03:29 PM
Hi was wondering, is a bumper cover the same as a bumper? If i have a 95 bumper on my car, would purchasing a 97 bumper cover work, just take mine off?? Or is there a catch to it saying bumper "cover" and not bumper?
thanks

Really the bumper is a hard plastic beam. The bumper cover is a part of the body.

so to do the conversion from 95 to 97 bumper, is a bumper cover all you need?

you'll also have to get some 97+ headlights... because the 95's are a bit too long to fit in the newer bumper design..

i had to take my "bumper" out to do the conversion. now its just a thin piece of plastic(?) that protects my car from an accident.
