Some of you know Im into making CF parts like MadHatter. I want to know if this would be something you guys would be interested in.
I thinking of taking the panel that the front door speaker sits and popping out the OEM grill and fabbing an enclosure that fits in that hole so a 6.5" speaker or anything smaller. It doesnt have to be CF, it could be wrapped or painted. I just want to know if you guys would be interested so I know if I need to make molds. Of course Im not asking for pre orders, I just want to know if this would be something to consider.

oh thats better! yeah that sounds cool, but im not enough into car audio. so i most likly wont buy one but im sure someone will :thumbsup

i am interested. i might need a little tutorial on how to take my grill out. as it seems like they melted plastic or something around the grill. my back seat ones were easy money to take out. but the front door ones seem like you either need to cut or burn them out.

Umm i think they are mounted differently depending on the years. I could be wrong but my friends 95-96 eclipse had the style that the backseat grill's have in mine. and my fronts are completely different.

YEs they would replace the OEM grill. ALl you do to get them off is use a dremel to sand down just the melted part.
