83848, need high quality picture of clean valve cover please Posted by DR1665, Apr-13-05 07:09 PM
Like the title says.
I'm looking for a hi-res picture of a clean 2GNT valve cover. Powedercoated, painted, stock. It doesn't matter. I'm hoping someone on here has a couple or can snap off a couple of thier VC for me. I want to play with a couple ideas I got this evening and just don't have what I'm looking for on my box here.
I'm thinking I'd like to start with a nice, straight-on from the front/top shot, but if you want to throw some others in there from coll angles, that's dope too.
Anyone help me out?
TIA.

I was looking for one FOREVER until I finally ended up just using the one you see in the shirt thread. If someone can get me an angle from the passenger side, kind of down-low, it would be much appreciated.
We can brain-storm on this Driggs :) (if this is for the shirt, otherwise forget what I just said, because I'm a dumbass).

Brian,
This is all I had at work to post. I can do better during lunch if you email me a specific angle needed.
Go to this link for high res versions. Some are grainy since I was using the spy camera.

Holy hell Dave, you're looks emaculate.
Question:
Can you do the picture below again, but closer?

AZDAVE, I believe your car should be the standard by which all cars are judged. It is always beautiful and in every post I see you in there are pictures and a very detailed reason why you did it how you did it. Also I will be using the HID thread pretty soon to install my own. Thanks, Later

Thanks, everyone. I think this will do for my tooling around. I have an idea out on the edge of the dark side of my mind and I want to coerce it to light so I can see it better. Something to play with tonight. }(
420A-T, we can brainstorm on this, although you might find me to be a bit hypocritical to work with at times... :+

420a-Tnthewerks, You want just the motor included in the shot? Correct? Or do you want me to zoom in on something else as the picture center? I took that pic with my little Sony so it wasn't as high quality as when I use my Olympus.
Thanks for the comments guys. I think the photos make my car look way better than it really is. At nearly 80,000 it's not in bad shape though. She grew up owned by a lady in New Mexico who took good care of her. I've only driven it in a hard rain twice in over 2 years so that helps keep the engine bay clean.

I took these shots before I saw your reply. Hope these work out.
For a high res. version of these two pics click on the properties for each photo and change the "engineview1" & "engineview4" names to "engineview2" & "engineview3".

He has gas struts that raise the hood and hold it without a prop rod. It's very pimp. }(
And Dave, I think you should share some pictures of the little LED details you have tastefully appointed your interior with, if you have not already. :thumbsup
