The bumper isn't bolted to the fender yet... gotta find some screws.

Now its back to looking like the typical "girls car" eclipse...

much better, but why didn't you just paint the CF stuff? that would have been awesome. Weight reduction stealth style.

wow fastest reply in history... I didn't want the z3 look also they weigh almost the same as stock... and If I had a oem style cf hood I would have painted that but I didn't and I wanted oem look again.

Yea I did too, but the attention is getting old as hell and not all of it was the good kind... had people fucking with me too much. Now I'll blend in with all the other imports with a fartcan and aftermarket wheels. :+

THANKS MAN!

Also thinking about getting these wheels:

$135ea. for polished forged 17x7 wheels seems like a steal to me and I think centerline have been around for a longass time. Anyone know anything about them?

centerline is huge with the aftermarket domestic guys... if those rims are even half as good as the old school centerlines, thats a damn fine price for a damn fine rim. your car needs side skirts now :)

Car looks alot better man imo any CF other than the hood on a car and its unpainted = boy racer/ricey/crappy looking.

HAHA I still have the sparco cf pedals ;)

EDIT: any opinions on those wheels? I placed my order for them today... 3-4 weeks b/c they have to make them ;(

EDIT2: The reason for me getting polished wheels is b/c EVERYBODY in my town jumped on the black/gunmetal/blackhubcap bandwagon... there are seriously 15-20 and I live in a small town... I was the first to have them 3 years ago in my area now its out of hand so I decided i've got to switch it up... Also them looking chrome kinda will help my sleeper image some what... (already messed that up with the big brakes and intercooler, but anyway)

It's funny how much of a difference sideskirts make. Looks way better. Get those mirrors and handles painted!

looking good! paint the handles, but i think the mirrors look good either way. but get some clear corners to go with your new wheels

What I would really like to do is have carbon fiber front half then paint the majority of it red... Basically, a custom paint job where it looks like the pain is ripping off the car from the speed and leaving carbon fiber underneath. So the nose of the car and top of the hood (especially near the hump) would be carbon while the rest would be the stock color...

Anyway, just an idea, I think it would look bad ass though... of course if a rock hit my car I would instantly become irate :\

That was my exact plan on a paint scheme... about 2 years ago I came up with that but I am just one of those people that can't see spending $2k or more to get my car painted... at least not while the paint still looks good...

Also, last time I priced a front bumber in cf it was $850. and I am sick of my car standing out so much. I am just going back to mostly stock appearance, anything you see is there for a function now.
