Hey,

Has anyone replaced the outide Handle.. Mine broke, and I have a replacement.. I just can't figure out how to take the door apart. I have already taken off the First part of the door (Plastic part). I just don't want to have to take off the window to get to it.. Any ideas?

Thanks alot,

Jason

Do you have a Chilton's repair manual, I remember seeing in there how to do it.

Me and my dad did mines. Went to open the door and the stupid thing just cracked inside. You definately have to take the door panels off and then take off the screws. You should then be able to take it off pretty easy. Didnt take much time. Hope this helps.

Getting the door lock back on is the hardest part. It's held on by a small clip that tends to get loose and not wanna go back on. You also should have a really small (minitiature) socket wrench with 8 and 10 mm small sockets I think, and maybe a crescent wrench. The nuts holding on the door handle are really hard to reach.
