Well the widebody is about 80 percent complete. I figured it was nice as hell out so I would post a few pics. The first pic is a pretty cool shot of the new motor though, thought I would throw that in there for ya too :) Both front fenders, quarters and side skirts are complete. The front bumper just needs minor sanding, the rear needs minor sanding and the passenger side wheel well still needs to fabbed up and thats about it. Both doors were removed today along with the hatch and the quarter glass so prep work can be done and finished in all the jams and everything. Paint date is getting close (May 12th) so it MUST be completed and in primer by then! Let me know what ya think, although aaron and blaire dont like the missle launcher kit, I still put a shitload of single man hours into this bad boy :)

Another body guy wanted your car but is screwing around...this is what I would do..go to the shop and pick up your car. This happened to me. Then he didn't piss around finishing my car. See his insurance work is about 80% profit, you car is only about 30%...so insurance work comes first. But if you do that ...you'll get your car.

Looks good- cant wait to see the final product- i hope you end up doing that greenish color. Who cares what others said- you seemed to like it- i did at least. No matter what you do not everyone will like what you do- so thats why you should do what your happy with!

The rims set it off nicely, but I don't think the green will look that good with them(if you're going with the green). They may though, can't quite see it.

If it was on my car i would sand the missle launchers off. Other than that it looks pretty good.

I agree off with the Missle Silos, The Cold War is over and I doubt any 2G will make it into a Bond film. Nice ass work though and other than the subject of my comment above I'm diggin' it.

P.S. I would go with that Electric Green from about a 2001 Mustang with Gold pearl laid over that. And I would have chosen bright Bronze rims also. But I have a 2G and if I want one like I just described I better get busy unlike you.

the missle launchers are staying there. i happen to like them. plus everyone with this kit gets rid of em, i will keep them to be different. the color is not the green, its not any color i ever asked or posted about. i WILL tell you this though, its a brand new color that house of kolor came out with and its not released out to public yet. the only way im getting it is because the shop who is painting my eclipse has the hook in with HOK i guess. i seen the paint chip and muther fucka, its amazing. you guys will shit yourself when you see it done :)

if you havent noticed from the 10,000 times you have posted in my threads, i doct care what you think. i think you are cool, but your opinions and mine, are like monkeys and fish, 2 different things. I like the whole kit, i like the nipples in the rear, it gives a little flavor other than looking stock'ish. If there where no missles or the 'nipples' in the rear, it would look too smooth, i want it looking a little more extreme, and those serve the purpose. and trust me, the color will make you shit yourself. its something you have never EVER seen on ANY car and i gurantee it because its not a color ever seen or released before and its not cheap. its gonna cost me $1400 just for paint supplies not including clear or sealer.

yes i know youve seen alot of prep/molding work but this is just finsihed and ready to go. im thinking of spraying the primer next weekend hopefully. when thats done, youll see that and then may 12 if not sooner, youll some fancy amazing paint on the widebody rs-t :)

Yea I realize you think it's not "available to the public" or whatever, but I'm not exactly "the public" considering I'm a painter and body man at a custom body shop. I have more than likely seen it, possibly sprayed it, considering my HOK dealer is right up the street from my shop.

my painter personally talked to HOK about it and figured out what base and shit to use, they told us it is not released yet and releasement wont be out until middle spring. so if they told me its not out, i doubt its out. lol im not calling you a liar optikal, just stating what they told us ya know.

Mike, Good choice on wheels, You ended up having to use spacers right? I agree with the guys that the missle launcher things should go. At least if break down you can get home backwards just launch a couple scuds. Anyway, looks good cant wait to see it after paint.

on the wide body im working on we got some zero camber wheels from the customer and her wheels stick out just right. kinda funny when we had her stockers on because the wheels look like they got sucked up into the bottom of the car.
