Hey guys,
im new to 2gnt and just wanted to say hi and ask a quick question regarding tire wear to my rear tires. I currently have airride and when i drive with a 2 inch drop my tires wear to the point where they only last acouple months. Im currently investing in 18's so i want to fix this problem as soon as possible so i can get those on. Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. thanks

Camber doesn't kill tyres in the same way as does toe. Get a camber kit, sure, but make sure that you get a 4 wheel alignment, because your car is off-toe.
Something to note is that your toe control arm inboard bolts are probably frozen to the bushing sleeve through which they pass. Even though the bolt might be frozen, whomever does your alignment might be able to, with a huge breaker bar, get the hunter machine to show 0 toe, and tighten the nut. The problem, though, is that the bushing is twisted. The first good pothole that you hit will throw your toe off again.
The only solution is to get either a new bushing for this arm (you would need to go aftermarket), or a new arm (if you want to keep the stock bushings), and new hardware (2 cammed bolts, 2 plates, 2 lockwashers, and 2 nuts). The hardware costs about $45, retail, and the rear bushing kit is about $120 from www.prothanesuspension.com. I don't know how much the toe-control arms cost, though.

He can't get an alignment, his car has air ride. Thus the point of this post.

Well, there must be some height at which he drives usually. Set the alignment at that height. Unless the suspension geometry was changed by going with an air ride, an alignment is possible.
