Posted by azfro, Nov-14-01 02:51 AM
i crashed, just messed up front end, i have a 95 rs, so i figured
im going to get a new bumper picked up a 97-99/and a back one as well with some blitz2 sides and a turbo spoiler, now the body shop is doing the work and now i need a color to paint the whole thing.. can someone help me damnit im stuck - i was going 2001 mustang silver - but that would look to much like stock silver, and i dont wanna pay all that for a stock looking car, so i was debating on 2002 lexus is charcoal, or 2002 maxima (silver/pearl) both good colors, any suggestions?? heh im fighting a deadline, i have about another day before i need a color...

YELLOW just b/c I like it. Technically if your body shop doesn't do an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT job (really hard when shit get hit) dark colors will show way more imperfections but will show less gaps. White is just the opposite. Lighter colors photograph better too! Just my 2 cents.

I say House of Kolor Kandy Apple Red. That color is so clean.

Well i am getting House of Kolor Kandy Burple w/ PPG clear and everything is going cost around $620. I am painting it at college auto body class. But red pigments are more than Blue pigment, so probably around $700-$750, including sealer, base, kandy, clear, and all reducers and hardners.

That Lexus charcoal color is serious!

I think it would be cool to see an Eclipse that color.

I think someone should Photochop a pic of that color on a 2G.
