hey im about to buy the oem side skirts for my silver 99rs,, they do NOT come with the door caps,, well im wondering,, will it look all that bad if i didnt have them?? at least it will be a lil different than everyone elses,, but i just have never seen one without it before and was wondering if anyone has, and would fill me in on if this looks like ass or not! lol. any reply is greatly appreciated! peacE dusty

I actually like the way it looks without them really. Only thing is you have that groove that needs to be molded out to make it look seemless. I was actually thinking about doing this myself.

I have the 95-96 skirts on my 98, and I think they look better without the caps...just seems like it brings more effect out of the side skirt, and makes them stand out a bit more..here's a bad pic up on the jack stands, but you get the idea :)

with, I had my skirts on before my caps and it looked retarded. It definitley doesnt look good with silver, trust me.

I'm a '96, but I've got the 97-99 skirts w/o caps. I like the look personally, I'd say go for it, and get caps later if you want.
