My car is at the body shop getting a nice makeover. Same color as now.. my question is.. is there anything else I should do to the car while its at the body shop?

Im having them remove all the windshield sprayers for the front and back and having them remove the rear windshield wiper..

I am having them put the stock rear taillights in just to make it look a little clearner. the center black piece is staying

Here are some pics to give you an idea.

Have them fill the drain rails in your roof. KaptainMyke did it and it's awesome. Also I'd have them paint that mesh in your front bumper black, that red is kind of an eye sore.

I agree with the mesh. I also want to see pics of the drain rails filled in, never thought of that before

I would go back to the stock front or maybe a Stillen, that one just doesn't flow right with the curves on the car. Good luck man.

Yea and it doesn't look like it's even with the sides, it looks a little higher.

the evo bumper sits flush with the side skirts. its kinda hard to tell in that picture.

when you see the car in person the bumper looks right no with the rest of the car.

as far as the red mesh goes... i haven't decided if i should leave it red or go black.

ok i just called the body shop and had them paint all the red grill to black :)

I hope they aren't charging you to put the stock tails in, you could do that yourself.

I would have the old window trim replaced with new! I am thinking about having it done on mine, you know after a few years the sun fades it and it gets those brown spots and whatnot.

Can't wait to see the final results.

stock front bumper? Honestly james I think your car would be sex on wheels if you just went back to stock and removed the red mesh and let that nice fmic shine.

shave your antenna!!! You have the carputer so I doubt you listen to the radio anymore. I also shaved the rear key hole for the trunk in my GS. something else to think about.

You could still shave it and use a hidden antenna in conjunction with your stock window antenna...yet another think KaptainMyke did.

aaron you crack me up, lol. i agree with SOME things you say, just not all of them. only thing with this is, that when he posted pics of new rims, i was the first one to tell him to ditch the red mesh, so unfortunately, i beat you to that :)

also, i filled my rain slots on my roof, i will post pics of it sometime when i feel like it.

i can't fill the rain things.. the shell of the car has already been painted. just found that out today.. Car has been in the shop for 3 weeks.

the widebody im workin on right now i filled the rain guards in. makes the car look smoother. on this car i also shaved the rear wiper, all the squiters, antenna and everything, however i wouldnt really do it to mine cuz it would give your gs that rs apearance. i mean those are options that came on the car as upgrades for the gs model. also those rims look sick as hell on your car, and i agree with the stillen front on this one. either that or put the stock front back on and get you some kind of carbon fiber lip.

LOL everyone is shaving rain gutters now. I shaved and molded EVERYTHING on my car. I don't think it gets much smoother than that.
