Like If I bought say a guage pod but needed to trim it, will it be a pita or can I just bust out the dremel and have at it?

ya you can trim out with a dremel. i used a dremmel when i drilled thru my cf hood for hood pins and nothing hapened. just make sure you be easy on it, like dont push the dremmel on real hard or else you could crack it.

Yes you can. Depending on what kind of finish is on it, score it first with a razor so you don't chip its gel/clear coat while cutting it. And use a new bit (metal) on max speed captain. Heres a pic of a cf project in its early stags being dremeled after being pulled from the mold, it doesn't have a clear coat yet but the dremel cut it like butter.
