This is just just for anyone who's curious about these headlights. I've been waiting for about a year for APC to make these lights again and nobody's sure whether they will or not, and if they do there's a good chance they'll only be made in the "CF" look. There's some deal about the corner lenses going from clear to amber as well. But I called around trying to track down an old pair and found a warehouse with three left, well now two. Those that are interested in these lights, (the same ones that SonicBewm had, the ones that use the stock lightbulbs, 9005/9006 not the H series) can find them pretty much only through Horse Power Freaks. i had these and there was about a 1/4" gap from the corner of the fender to the corner of the headlight. the bulb always moved around while driving, they suck major balls, do not waste your money on these. buy soem different ones! amiller is right, 99.9% everythign APC makes, is junk. i left the .1% for their vinyl decals they sell at autozone for $29.99, good shit there :thumbsdown

I called the three places MCubed had listed and they had no idea what was going on with the certain item number. I'm not sure about JCWhitney, I think they only had the CF ones listed. Feel free to correct me. Also, what's so bad about these headlights, they use the 9000 series lightbulbs?(other than being made by APC, I know, I'm not too excited about that but oh well)

OK...I've had them. THEY SUCK! They throw the light all over the place glaring like a bastard.

they dont fit and they simply suck.

but they're better than most've the other projectors on the market, right? (because they use the stock bulbs rather than h3's)

obviously aftermarket headlights don't have the same quality output and cutoff as OEM. that's why they're so much cheaper. people buy them for looks. if you have to go with an aftermarket projector i'd probably go with the duals.

why duals? so you can drive with your high beams on all day long too? buy the matrix ones from summit racing, they fit great, i used those before the halo's i bought from ebay which fit perfect too...
the apc's just dont work.

and for your bulb question, my h3 silverstars are brighter than the ordianary 9006 hyper white bulbs.

Silverstars are brighter no matter what. 9006 to H3 conversion wont' make them "brighter" but silverstar bulbs will.

OK, I'm going to make it really simple. Don't waste your money on any of those stupid ass projector headlights. I've the h3 kind and the 9006 kind. Both suck ass so just keep your OEM headlights and be happy. :P

The ultimate projector setup would just be retrofitting your stock ones, Get a projector from a BMW or an AUDI, and do a custom setup. I have projectors and I am happy with them but In the future I would like to do a retrofit to the stock ones because that is true quality rite there. Goto hidplanet.com there is some good help there if you decide to take that route.

Well, I'm hoping they fit after reading the replies. I'm also using Sylvania Silverstars, I'm not sure if that will help or not. But I hope these work out well, I needed the shorter housing for the 99 bumper I'm putting on my 95. I'll find out on Monday or so when they show up, now I'm worried.

They fit fine for me but they are pieces of shit!

they dont even come with the wiring harness do they?

i had one set, didnt fit, got another from APC, same thing. quality junk IMO.

No, you have to cut the wiring out of your other headlights. It's a big waste of time because the projectors suck!@!!!@!@!

APC Projector housings with retrofitted Hella projectors. This is bad ass in my opinion

I have the Apc projector with Silverstars and I like them. The fitment it good, like mike said, I think there is a 1/4 inch gap at the fender. But I like them over all, they show the road real good. So here is one happy Dsmer with APC projector.
