There is like a less than half inch strip of metal that sticks out, and your side skirts should go over that, so you can drill 2 or 3 screws that are only visible when the door opens. | |

It might be slightly under it, like under 1/4" inch. The driver's side required a little bondo. And T&L installed my sides so I'm not sure how they go the screws to not show. I know they had to drill at an angle though... | |
