3M machine glaze with foam buffing pad...This method of buffing is simple and you can really mess anything up. Just don't ride the edges. Then use a good wax. Always wash black with a wash mit, so all dirt is removed and your not rubbing it into the paint when drying. Use diffrent towels for wheels, and wheel wells only.

Autopia.com Go there....

YOu use a number of different things.. Different cutting pads, Heavy abbrasives, Polishes to seal.. A whole bunch of shit. It's not as easy as you think to do a good detail. It can take hours to get a whole car done on the outside.

That is my friend Maxima he worked 6 hours on it. You can see in one of the pictures he took a picture directly at the paint and it looks like hes taking a picture of himself. By the way if any of you are in NJ he does detailing on the side and he will be detailing again soon in a few weeks. So if you need your ride in tip top.. Let me know and I'll give you his e-mail.

Simply go out to Autozone and buy Zymol polish and wax.

Clean your car with Dawn, wax your car with the zymol wax, then use the zymol polish.

Trust me.. my car is black too ;)

If you really want to remove swirls the right way you need to polish it, Ive been told to use a random orbital buffer with a micro fiber pad and some 3M machine glaze, then 3M hand glaze and wax over it.

This is the kind of information that is most useful! If you truely want to get rid of swirls its stuff like this you need to do. Purchase a random speed porter-cable, different pads, polishs, glazes etc. If any of you guys need a proffesional detail job done in Jersey at a good price. My buddy does detailing and you guys will be amazed in the results. He does inside and out. Removes stains from the interior (no love stains, that comes at an additonal cost..lol) does leather treatment, protectents etc.

Meguires machine glaze works really well too. Be sure to get the black 3m foam pad(different types.)
