Well I'm still waiting for the weather to get better before i lay down some paint but heres some before and after shots

The lovely stock look the rs's have..lol










Then I joined the "Broken Door Handle club"



Decided to lose the 3 piece wing and also shaved the anntenna


The paint was starting to oxidize so i just took it off and decided to fix all the dents from parkin lots and what not


First coat of primer


Only thing i did to the front bumper was fill in the logo on the front, i'm debating on shaving the windshield washer nossles, it'd be a last min thing before paint


A trip to the salavge yard got me side skirts for 60 bucks. I bullshit them that they were messed up and instead of 300 i got them for $60! So i just fiberglassed the back of them and used duraglass with a skim coat of bondo

Primer is such a sexy color.

am i a "ricer" if i like the looks of the flat black and primer?....if so damn my ricer side is becoming very strong and might start taking over lol

well alot of people like flat black.. i think your a ricer when u get spray can primer and spray ur car when theres no body work that was done and no need for it..lol I just perfer the gloss, but right now its pretty cool not having to worry about scratches and keeping it waxed.. i think i waxed my car like a week before i stripped it so that sucked. so i guess if the door handle never broke i would not of gotten into the body work :shrug

you did good. keep it up. what color you going to paint it? IMO, you should ditch those tails and get stockers!

Thanks i duno about the color i know its gonna be black just duno what shad of black and the tail lights are staying..lol i have not seen them on a car where i live and everyone wants them. all i can say is that there not euro's, i have like blood red leds in them and it makes it to where everyone knows it me. but anways do u have any other pics of ur car with the kit on from differnt angles and what not?

cant wait to see it painted. I recently got my door handle fixed. It had been broken for 6 months, then I go to les schwab and i say "the door handle doesn't work it is broken", and yet the idiot pulls on it anyways. he rips the handle completely off, so then they paid $155 to get it fixed at a local body shop. I was pretty happy

Dam i'm glad they paid for it and not you.. but there was some good for mine breaking i got into the body work and well for the first time i think i'm catching on..lol :shrug

The primer flat black is hardly ricer. Hot rods used to sport that look all the time back in the day. It was a sign that you were working on your car, kind of like it is for some today. I agree with you though, I would paint it. It will be so clean when you are done.

yah I love the flat black as well. Would be really sweet with some black or bronze rims!

that does look clean... I saw a RX7 flat green... I still think it's f'ing bad!!! cleanest looking car ever....

so how you open the doors? auto-loc poppers? the reason im asking is because both my exterior door handles broke at the same time.. hahahhahh... freakin sux huh? so im waiting on the handles sometime this week.
