500 bucks for a full paint job. I can't believe it. They are taking out every dent that I have and repainting the whole car for only 500 bucks! should be done in about a month, I'm taking the car to them in a week or so and will DEF. Have pics to follow.

Well, its a painting program. They all go in here for 4 years and the people that touch my car is their 3rd year. So it will def. Look good. There is a teacher there that won't let the car go unless its 100% correct, remember, this is a learing car so they need the car to be perfect. I'm only paying for the paint and even that is pretty cheap. They use PPG, I kinda wanted to go a shade darker, almost like a grey, but they dont do color changes.

Very cool but how pointless is it to paint it the same color uness your car is dinged to all hell.

4 YEARS FOR PAINTING!?!?!?!? Jesus, they're getting ripped off, even if it's body repair and paint, 4 years is TOO MUCH IMO....especially considering stuff like that is a skilled trade that you have to practice at and cant be taught everything in a class...I would sue if the screw up in the least since they're so dedicated as to waste that much of their lives learning a vocational trade.

I think they got more than just painting and body work in the four years they spend there. I'm happy for you Geo and if they do a bad job just kick their ass in the dorm:bash

seriously, 4 YEARS...I could understand if they trained you in most stuff, like a year or 2, then did like a work program for the rest for true experience. but 4 years in school, for something you can learn without it.... now if it was something like a full automotive course, with engine, suspension, and body, -or- if they teach advanced things like molding fiberglass, and other forms of fabrication, then I could understand it better...but a 4 year body program is insane...
