81007, Replacing Projector Bulbs... Posted by aquafreeta, Jan-30-05 08:09 AM
I have the single projector lights on my car (see link to see exactly which ones i am talking about)... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7950757713&category=33710
anyway..all i need to do is change the freakin bulb on it cuz it burned out...How hard is it? x( i had better luck changing my springs and struts... I know it takes an H3 but I cant figure out how to get the bulb out...there are two screws holding in a bracket which holds in the plate that holds in the bulb (from what i can tell) ...am i suppost to take those screws out? if so that is ridiculous since there is no way to fit a screwdriver in that little area ...i did a search and found one thread where someone asked the same question but the pics in it that i need to see are nice big red X's...any advice is appriciated...thanks so much projectors = :P me = x( :wallbash :censored :cry :owned

take the backing piece of the headlight, it turns out. then the little bracket you are talking about, it kind of 'pulls then pops' out of the way. pull it up a little bit and then slide it back, you can do it. then the bulb will pull straight out and then unplug and replace it. takes about 10 minutes max.
