nice ride...how did you manage to get the cf hood to fit with the turbo?

Yeah...I have HID again. It's the McCollough 5000k kit. It's an OEM style cf hood so it fit just like the stock hood would so the turbo isn't a problem.

your HIDs would look even more bitchin with some kind of projectors, you have got a lot of glare going on right now.. otherwise though, damn, you have a nice car.

It looks glared because the shutter was open for a longer time since it was dark out. Trust me...I had HID and projectors the first time. The projectors glared so damn much that it was ridiculous. The HID works so much better in the stock housings and I don't have any glare.



That was 8000k hid and dual projectors. You can't see how bad the glare was because my camera at that time sucked. But they looked like shit.

I got this kit on ebay for like $274. It's way better than that Hanabi kit that I had the first time and the light is pure white.

i think i had the same kit when bruce's speed shop was running the special a couple years back. it was great for about a year when one of my ballasts went out and hanabi's site was no longer existant. i'd rather not retrofit another ballast to work with my working components.

were the projectors really that bad? do you think they wouldn't be as bad with your new HID's? i've got beat up 95 stock lights right now so i was hoping to get some dual projectors in the future when I get a new bumper an stuff.

I've had every kind of headlight for the eclipse on my car and I would honestly recommend finding some 97-99 oem headlights. As for what camera I'm using...it's a sony cybershot dsc-w1 on a tripod with about a 2 second shutter speed at night. I'm pretty pleased with the pictures that it takes.

hmmm now you got me rethinking whether i wanna go with the dual projectors or not :P

i imagine stock lights would probably cost a pretty penny new... did you have your old hanabi kit on stock lights at all or did you already have the projectors when you got the kit? i can't remember... just wonderin how much of it is the mcculloch kit and how much of it is the stock lights. i guess it's hard to compare too since the hanabi's were 8000k

dsc-w1, eh? i've got the predecessor dsc-v1... awesome pro-sumer camera.. the w1's way more compact and sleeker and it's got that massive 2.5" lcd but i think they dropped a feature or two with the remake. still got more than enough options to keep the average hobbyist entertained though :thumbsup

Yeah...I had the hanabi kit on the stock lights before the projectors. There was a lot less glare in the stock lights with that kit as well.

Those pics were actually at some church on 13th Street. I'll have to find a sign that says something about the shockers for you. :P Until then...this will have to do...

The engine is filthy since I used to live on a dirt road and I haven't had time to clean it yet and my interior is nothing special. Just a bunch of gauges and grey leather seats.

Edit: I guess this is kind of an engine shot...
