Whole car needs to be black IMO. Or atleast a really dark color.

19's look sooooo HOT on Eclipse's and Talon's. I realize that everyone's cars are "works in progress", but I think that it would look better if it had the 97-99 front bumper, sideskirt cap, and fender fitment issues taken care of. Oh yeah, it would help if the car was clean, but I know its cold and the weather has sucked a bit lately.

ever driven a 10year old red car with stock paint in texas? thats as clean as it will ever get. the deal with the hood/fenders is that she doesnt have hood pins so she took the rubber stoppes off of the radiator support to have the hood sit really low

I know what you mean. My car is a 95 and not perfect either. Smart idea about the hood. I think that she still should get some pins tho, cause you never know.

Title makes me think there'd be more pics of girls, but nevermind that. Tell her to paint those damn fenders, unpainted fenders look worse then unpainted bodykits IMO.

Don't really like it. You can't use the car being 10 years old as an excuse for the paint...my car is 10 years old and the paint still looks pretty much brand new.

your car was also wrecked and most of the car has been repainted, or replaced with 97+ parts. i dont see anything wrong with the paint except the sideskirts, the car is really clean in person maybe its bad pics or something


yeah the gauge pod looks goofy imo, i dont know why she doesnt put the end caps on the fenders, i dont think she wants to drill into the c/f.

as for the car.... the main reason things rn't fitted etc... is because im getting another eclipse... a black 99 GSX to be exact, for this upcoming season, like march probably. I have CF Hoodlocks (yes hoodlocks with a cf disk to blend in with the hood) but i dont want to drill and more holes in my radiator support to just put them on the new car, as well as the fenders, the fender caps rn't on b/c i didnt want to drill in em yet, and the windshield needs to be replaced. those pictures were actually also taken after a 150 mile cruise on rocky twisties in the northernmost part of the county, so thats why the car's dirty even after dusting it off.

the wheels are 19x8.5" inch bronze ADR Cypher wheels wrapped in Nitto Neogen 215 35 19s (the only tire thatll fit on the car)
btw LikeNoOther, we do have the same tastes, very nice :)

the guage pod does look kind of funny, i think itll look better molded on the full cf dash from Carbonwerks im getting :)

i have alot of surprises coming this season, as well as getting into autoxing instead of drag racing. I just have to find someone who can make custom cf body parts and ill be set

obviously you dont understand how hard it is to find aftermarket products that fit like oem standards sucka. I bought a quwhees widebody kit STRAIGHT FROM THE COMPANY, and it still fit like drunken shit. its hard finding carbonfiber products that fit like oem too.

the fenders fit just fine, but she has the rubber hood stoppers out so it goes down farther. the headlights need the 97-99 front nose. but she said it's a work in progress and is getting another eclipse for all that.

I think it looks unique...

it is all tinted 15-30 as legal as it gets here
it will be 8 on the windows and 5 on the hatch (if its not lexan) on the new car

as for the fitment issues...
the whole reason the fenders and hood dont line up is all because of the stupid aftermarket hoodlatch... in the aftermarket industry i believe everyone would agree that 85% of products have to be made to fit because nothing stock is going to fit perfectly. the hoodlatch on the cf hood is not as long as stock so i had to take out my hood stops for it to click into the lock not just the top of the latch...if i wanted it to line up i'd end up with a broken windshield cuz it lines up when the hood's released... for the fitmen to be ok i need my hood pins... i had them on my old cf hood but i bouaght carbon fiber hood locks and dont want to drill more holes in the radiator support when they'll be on another car... an dthe headlights r gapped of course because the 95 front bumper cover

so if you read all that...i explained the fitment issues lol


on a side note... extreme eclipse... i checked out your website... your car is amazing. that is ALOT of work and i hope to see you at HIN. ill be traveling nationally this year so ill be at HIN Chicago, padre tuner bash, Miami tunerbash ect... ill prob roll into ATL as well ;) im doing the import face-off shows in TX right now... i took Best Of Show Mitsubishi this past weekend at Houston Raceway Park for IFO when i hadnt washed my car in 2 weeks lol... i got to a major show at the least 2 times a month and am graduating early to be able to work the circuit this season as our team is debuting for the season soon... good luck with the shows and keep me updated
