my door sills have this nasty black rubber shit melted on them. its been that way since i bought them. ive tried to get it off, but i just make it worse. anyone know wher eyou can find door sills? after market or stock?

Unless you go to a junk yard your going to have to get them from the dealer. Even then if you go to a junk yard your looking at it being a waste of time because they sit out in the elements without armor all or anything. Best bet is get them from the dealer. They are not too expensive.

If you have an Eclipse, I've heard the 3G door sills work...but I could be wrong...

that rubber is gonna come back if u dont clean out the inside of your door behind the door panel..they put that black tar stuff there to protect the inside of the door from water and it gets hott and melts..all i did was took off the door panels and cleaned it off the bottom of the doors..

rubber trim is not something that is usually in good enough shape for someone to salvage off a car. Also the door seals cam be damaged pretty easy if you don't know how to take them off. That's why most junk yards will just leave them on the car to rot.
